Harvard... week 3 part 1.

Rob and I, after a long week of planning our December holiday, decided to hit the town on Friday night with Tom and Mara. We should have just stayed home cause nothing was going our way. We got to the T station (carrying plastic bags of beer for the house party - cause we don't have any other bags)and the station was packed full of people from the movies, and we didn't have a ticket and the lines were lang! So Rob ran back to the other station got us a ticket, we then waited 2 trains for some space, took the train and missed our stop and by the time we arrived, the house party was over and everyone had gone to Model Bar.
So we walked to model bar carrying plastic bags full of beer looking like hobo's and when we got there Tom met up with us outside and we drank the beers in rapid succession in some dodgy parking lot (you can't drink in public and a beer is like $5 - so we had NO other option). We then hit the club which was OK. It was pretty GANGSTA, Dari would have loved it! We had a couple of drinks - Rob did a bit of pole dancin and then we decided to hit Mickey D's (our experimental steak supper at home just didn't work out - again). Mickey D's was closed so we got a slice of pizza.
At that stage we decided in our brave state - why should we catch a cab home when we could walk and save $35. After another pizza slice and 10km (6miles) we eventually reached home at 3am with icicles on our noses like on Dumb and Dumber (we are actually Dumb and Dumber).
Sorry, no photo's - forgot my camera.
Saturday brought better fortune and we decided to visit Harvard.
We caught the T at the Boston Common which is the park about a block away from our place, it is where everyone goes on the weekends. The pic on the left was a protest in the park to stop global warming, people were singing and dancing with posters... it reminded me of home.
After that we went back home, put on warmer clothes, walked back to the station and hit Harvard.
The whole place is big and full of massive buildings, but its got nothing on TUKS!
Rob and I took a few photo's as if we belonged there...
Then we took the classics: The university notice board and the squirrel...
Then we had to take one with John Harvard...
The place was pretty cool, we bought some Harvard coffee mugs (cause we don't have mugs) and a South Park Poker set and some Simpson's coasters!
Check out the gallery for a few more pics...
