Blue Man Group
Tuesday, November 07, 2006
So even though most people who know me would say that I wouldn't step foot into a playhouse (bad memories - i was always a sheep in my primary school plays) I heard about the Blue Man Group from one of my work colleagues who actually talks (I think the rest of the office is mute)and we managed to get tickets at only $35 each on special, apparently in Vegas there are $ 100.
I did not have a clue what we were going to watch and that was a good thing. The playhouse is about 2 blocks from our apartment building which I have now actually realised is on the border of Daritown and the Theatre district. So when I get home I will be an actor who can make spring rolls.
So we took a walk through the Theatre district until we arrived at Charles Theatre:
The show was brilliant, it is performance art by 3 guys who are BLUE! They play drums with paint on them and they do the wierdest things, but they never say a word.
I can't explain it, you have to see it.
We couldn't take photo's in the show, but Rob and I managed to catch a blue man on the way out. I tried to get him to say something, but alas.
